What am I up to for Summer 2024?

With the school year winding down and the temperatures heating up, travel is on everyone's minds. I have clients traveling to the Orlando theme parks, cruising to both Alaska and the Caribbean, visits to all inclusive resorts in the Caribbean, and more from May to September.

But, what are my plans? Well, I'll tell you- Summer 2024 is busy with work and play!

Beaches Ocho Rios

Next month I will be taking my family on our first ever Beaches Resort trip. We are visiting Beaches Ocho Rios for a six night family vacation. While there, we anticipate lots of free ice cream, the on-property water park, nice dinners, and a little "mom and dad" day date while the boys go to the kids clubs. While in the area, I will go to both Sandals Ochi and Sandals Royal Plantation resorts for property tours.

TAMS

Upon my return home, I'll have a few days in the office before heading to a regional professional meeting. The Travel Advisors of the Mid-South Conference is a two day meeting that provides continuing education along with opportunities to network with Business Development Managers (BDMs) with various travel companies such as Ama Waterways, Viking River Cruises, Sandals/Beaches, etc. In 2023, they had representatives from 67 different travel vendors.

July, August, and September continue with old favorites, new experiences, and more learning.

Sandals Dunns River

Sandals Dunns River reopened last May after the Sandals brand purchasing the property back. They did a major refurbishment to the rooms, grounds, and restaurants. This property and Sandals Saint Vincent are being marketed as "Sandals 2.0" as new, modern option within the brand with added luxuries. My husband and I are looking forward to four nights away together to explore this gorgeous property.

FTJ Agency Meet-Up

August is a repeat from last year- Fairytale Journeys Travel will be doing a weekend sailing on The Disney Wish. Our agency owner, Susanne Hays, will be joining us and providing team building opportunities along with support on how to best assist Disney Cruise Line clients.

Halloween with Disney: Walt Disney World + Disney Cruise Line

Then in September, I'll be returning to Orlando for a Land + Sea Week. I'll be spending a weekend at Walt Disney World for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. Then, as my children return back to school, I'll be doing a four night girls trip aboard The Disney Wish again. This will be my first "Halloween on the High Seas" sailing. I can't wait to combine my love of Halloween with my love of Disney Cruise Line!

I look forward to this destinations and expanding my knowledge for my clients. These travels are always an investment financially and of my time- but they are also an investment in you. I hope these destinations are exciting to follow-up and maybe inspire your next trip!
